there was thunder for the duration of our hike (5 hrs I think),it rained too and when we were at the top,we took a break at the edge of that cliff while the thunder was booming all around us,it was very cool.We were going to go to the very top which would have been about another half hour except it didn’t seem like a very good idea because of lightening.Some touched down in the distance.
